Stiff Joints -- a local institution. The band has been performing for over 30 years with regular appearances in the pubs and clubs of southwest London -- Richmond, Twickenham, Sheen, Barnes, Mortlake, Putney, Brentford, Isleworth, Chiswick, Ealing, and Kew. They’ve performed in central London too as well as major venues further afield – from Kent in the east to Devon in the west and from Inverness in the north (of Scotland) to Languedoc in the south (of France).

Led by founding members Brian Coope (guitar and vocals) and Jon Riley (lead guitar, mandolin, and vocals) and long-serving maestros Mark Stevens (keyboards, accordion, and vocals), Alan Brock (bass and vocals) and Dan Allsopp or Dave Maud (on drums) the band also has a canny knack of attracting some superlative musicians to join us on stage (including members of the Kinks and Strawbs in the past). 

Classy enough to play specialist music events at The Bull’s Head in Barnes and Ealing Blues Festival but fun-loving enough to keep both young and old dancing all night on goodtime/party occasions. The repertoire is built on rock’n’roll but with elements of blues, folk, country, cajun, soul, and reggae, so expect some Dylan and Cash along with Elvis, Chuck and Orbison, not forgetting Wolf (Howling) and Waters (Muddy) – and they’ll sneak in some sparkling originals too.
