Barnes Home Guard Association

The Barnes Home Guard Association (BHGA) is an oasis on your doorstep.  We are a social club serving the local community, having our own spacious grounds with space for car parking and a well-furnished clubhouse with a well-stocked bar and food facilities.

Our club is best described as a local community social club where members and their friends can meet in a friendly and comfortable environment while their children play safely outside. What could be better than sitting outside on a sunny weekend lunchtime or even a warm evening with a beer or a glass of wine?

The management committee oversees the running of the club and arranges the social programme.They work hard to ensure there is a varied range of social events for all the family such as Quiz nights and Music nights.

You are very welcome to visit the Club and check on membership.

Our opening hours during the Autumn and Winter months are as follows.

Friday - 5.30 pm to 11 pm

(children are to leave by 9 pm except on Family Friday, which is the last Friday of each month)

Saturday - 2.30 pm  to 11 pm

Sunday - 2.30 pm until 10.30 pm
